Bet my old private school ain't proud of me... ♥

I'm seriously in love with Hey Monday lately. I can't stop listening to some of their songs! They're like a pop band with an indie reputation. It's hard to describe. But they're seriously amazing. No matter what kind of music you listen to, I bet you'll find at least one of their songs you like. But anyway, onto the real reason for this blog.

Yesterday I posted that I had got my belly pierced but I couldn't post a picture because it was all bloody and disgusting. After finally getting it cleaned and photograph ready. This is the outcome of my stomach. Apparently my belly button looks really small here. But it's not small when you see it in real life. The colour of the gem looks different hear. In life its more turquoisey. It's really nice and goes well with the black. I'm cleaning it so carefully and trying not to get it infected. I really hope it doesn't.

Stand up, take a bow you have, no reason to celebrate... ♥

Today me and Roza went to Shamanic's down London Road in Westcliff to get my belly button pierced. I was so pleased with myself 'cause I didn't even get worked up or scared about it. Roza was getting more anxious than I was. When we got into the actual room where I was getting it pierced, I started to get a little scared. I was shitting myself when she clamped it. Roza had to look away she was so scared. But it was so quick and not nearly as bad as I thought it would be.
I also finally sorted out my work placement. Well, at least I think I have. I have to go for an interview on Tuesday after school. Hopefully that goes well then I will be able to do it at Past Times. I love some of the stuff in there. And my original choice was to work in Topshop, but they don't do work experience there. Which I was so upset about. But I'm happy I've got a chance to work at Past Times. Should be quite fun. I hope.

I'm not Schwarzkopf's biggest fan at the moment since I died my hair with their XXL hair dye and it came out a yellowy orange colour. But I have to admit, this could be the nicest hair spray I've ever used. It's a really good hold but it doesn't make your hair have that wet hair sprayed look. It's called invisible hold, and it really does stick to it's name.
My other favourite here is Bed Head's ego boost. It's a serium that you put on wet or damp hair to mend split ends. It's started to work it's magic and it's proving to be worth buying.
These two hair products are definite must haves for me.

Cardigan: River Island
Top: Zara
Leggings: Topshop
Jewellery: Topman or abroad

This is one of my favourite outfits at the moment. I'm in love with my new cardigan. I wasn't to sure when I bought it because it actually has a zip, when I would've preferred buttons. But the zip isn't actually so bad. I'd still prefer buttons though. This outfit can really be worn with any type of top. I was originially going to wear it with my ACDC top, but prefered this one 'cause of the tiger. It's all neutral colours so any tops will go with it really. I did do a close up of the detail on the top. But it kept coming out weird so I gave up in the end.
My jewellery with this is quite simple. I've got some simple dog tags just to add a bit of 'bling' to the outfit. I don't like gold or silver jewellery at the moment. I like metals and greys. So Topman is perfect at the moment. The bracelets towards the bottom of my arm are from topman. The rest are from either France, Zante or Florida. My make-up's a bit extreme here. I normally do have quite bold eyes, but not nearly as much eyeliner on the bottom as I do here. It was mainly to match my lipstick. Its Yves Saint Laurent Lipstick for Heroines in Royal Violet. It's lush! Definitely an investment worth spending.
I've already got 3 blogs saved ready to post. I've just gone crazy blogging now. But I'm going to save them for a time that maybe I don't have any inspiration or am just ocmpletely out of blog idea's. Or just can't be bothered. Hopefully that should be very rare though.

I'll be the narrator, Telling another tale of the American dream... ♥

I havn't blogged in a while. Because I was just going to give it all up because I just didn't find it fun. But I've realised that was because I was blogging when I felt like it, about what I felt like. So now I've decided to put a bit more routine into my blogs. The sub title's will be rather random at times because that was one of the hardest problems I came across when blogging. What to make the title. So from now onwards, whatever song I'm listening to when writing a title I will pick out my favourite line from it and make it the title. Easiest way to do it.
I will also be doing more frequent 'outfit posts'. As you could call them. I will think of a more creative name when I think of one. These will basically be posts about my favourite outfits or maybe just before I go out I'll do a quick blog of what I'm wearing to the cinema or shopping or something.
I might even do a couple of make up and hair post tutorials. Just a few step by step pictures and show some of my favourite styles and products. I will never do any video's of things though. I hate my voice and don't want people to hear it. And I don't have the software to edit out glitches and mishaps.

And as always, I will sign off with my usual picture...

merry christmas... ♥

well, actually merry boxing day. Thought I'd do a blog purely about my christmas day. Considering we forgot the prawns for the starter and couldn't fit the turkey in the oven, the dinner was lush! Chrismas dinner is always a fave. I was meant to get up at 9 and wake my parents up. Instead I got up at seven and decided to wait before waking them up. But they got up at 8 anyway. So we went and opened our presents. I got an iphone 4 with a case, some boots from topshop, a denim shirt (i mentioned it in a previous blog), a top, a dress, loads of lovely socks, soap and glory stuff, money and lakeside card, some brogues, and finally a luscious dressing gown. I got other stuff but I just cant remember it all.

Thats basically all this blog's about. sorry, I couldn't get tags for everything.

sleeping beauty... ♥

I've been off school for barely a week, and my sleeping pattern is complete f****d. I went to bed at 2am two nights ago, and woke up at 4pm. I then stayed up and at 12ish thought it was still like 6 o'clock. It was horrible. Today I got up at half one. It's now five o'clock and it feels like eightish. Tonight I'm going to go to bed at a respectable time. Wake up before noon hopefully. And then I'll have another night to get my sleeping pattern back on track so I wont be going to sleep at silly o'clock on Christmas eve and not waking up until boxing day. I'm sure my parents would wake me up anyway. Wish me luck with sleeping.

click click click... ♥

I got a new laptop the other day. It was a Christmas present. But my Dad was nice enough to give it to me earlier. I'm seriously in love with it! It's a Sony Vaio something or rather... I really wanted a white laptop. But the nicest one I could find was a Apple Mac. But they're apparently really rubbish and I don't really like the set up on it. I pr
efer good old windows 7. After all, it was my idea.

Romeo take me somewhere we can be alone... ♥

This title isn't suitable for this blog. I just remembered I'm meant to be doing my Romeo and Juliet essay again. I wont do it. I've re-done all of it apart from the conclusion. Which I'll do tomorrow night hopefully.

I went to lakeside today with Charlie. We left mine at quarter past twelve, and got the train to lakeside. We didn't get their until three o'clock. Our train was delayed and kept getting stuck so we had to swap trains adding on at least an hour and a half
onto the journey. It was torture. Especially the bit where we swapped trains because we sat near some of the biggest 'chimos' I've ever seen. They all h
ad emo black hair with like pink bits in. But one was in black skinny jeans and leather jacket, and another was in trackies! They were listening to stuff like Ndubz and Lil Wayne. Then changing their music to stuff like Slipnot and Breaking Benjamin! It was utterly ridiculous! But I grabbed the nicest caramel hot chocolate before we set off, s
o I was happy.

When we got there we spent hours shopping. But had bought nothing. Then, just as the shops were closing we went into Topshop. And I saw the nicest outfit ever! It was this button up sleeveless shirt with these dark blue cupro shorts. I couldn't find the exact links. But it's as close as I could get. But I was something like 5 pound off or something silly. And I couldn't try them off as the store was about to close. So I put them back. I then walked round and saw this really nice cape top. I
then walked around the shop some more and found the same shirt as before, in a dark red colour. I saw it and fell in love with it even more than the other one! (They don't have it on the website, so I couldn't do a link) I then went in Topman and bought a bracelet set. (which as well I can't find on the website) I'm in love with Topman jewelry at the moment. It's so my style. I like metal looking jewelry. Like, dark colours and stuff. I think my fashions a bit odd at the moment. I can wear so many different things and still call it 'my style'. I wish I'd just make my mind up about things...

title unnecessary... ♥

Tomorrow morning at exactly 3:30am (yes 3!), I will be getting up and getting ready to go on another trip to The Clothes Show Live, NEC Birmingham. Last year was amazing! I took forty pounds with me, and came back with like, no money and only one pair of bottoms. The market/shops before were shit. But I think it was because I was looking in all the wrong places, and I was unsure of the style I was into. But now, I'm taking ninety pounds and I plan to invest in some half decent things. I'm going to hunt around for the best of the best. I know exactly what to expect, and instead of running round like a kid in a candy shop. I'm going to have a good long look at the stuff I like. Not going to waste my money on crappy merchandise. Free stuff on the other hand... I wouldn't mind carrying. But last year I spent most of my money on these crappy bag things that I used what, Once? maybe twice? before they broke. Load of shit really. But some of my friends got some really nice stuff. I'll be looking out for some vintage stools. I'm not really a true vintage dresser, but I do like some of the quirky assessories and stuff. So I'll be keeping an eye out.
The show on the other hand, was far from a waste of money. It was fucking fantastic. Excuse my french... But seriously the models were LUSH! and the presenters were so good. Not to mention the clothes! I fell in love. And that was before I was even into fashion. I wouldn't be too surpised if this year I cried. Bit far, but seriously. I can just picture it now, it's going to be worse than going into topshop or river island when your broke. Hopefully this year, the beforehand shopping will be as good as the fashion show itself. I best be off, I was meant to be in bed half an hour ago. It's only half eight. But I need some god damn sleep...
p.s. yes, I know the picture says 2009.
